another tougher question

can ANYONE
find the website(or anything)
of the wheel company "superior"
my dad has had them on the camaro for many years(purchased in late 70's)
they look really great even today, id post a pic but thats half of my problem,
they're 6 spoke rims with a deep dish, but they dont look ricey in any way.

i was thinking of getting the identical rims for my car when I get it,

ive tried google, wiki,... etc etc, and nothing...

anyone older than me know about this company and maybe a website they have, or anything?

thanks in advance

If you want to get Superior Wheels to match what's on your dad's car, you're going to have to buy them used. Superior Industries International stopped manufacturing aftermarket wheels 10ish years ago and is now an OEM producer/supplier of wheels and suspension pieces for the automotive and heavy truck industries.

WHEELS! What you want are WHEELS.

This is a rim with a tire mounted to it.

This rim is one piece;

What's your point?

The point is that you don't know and apparently don't have any interest in learning. You can't attach a rim to your car (or truck, or tractor, or motorcycle, or anything). A rim is only the outer portion of a wheel or wheel assembly whether it's one, two, two, or 100 pieces.

so the rim is always the outer circle and the wheel is always the design?
i used to think a one peice rim was the outer circle and the inner wheel/design
all in one solid peice,

and im interested in learning, i already know a lot of stuff, but theres probably a lot more that ive yet to find out

Go get a dictionary and look up the words "rim" and "wheel". This is about fourth grade stuff. Or try the search function. This has only been covered a bazillion times on this forum.

The wheel is all of the parts, the rim is the outer edge, the spokes are the spokes, and the hub is the middle.

Good try, but maybe you should look into what a hub is. Not many car wheels ride directly on the axle shaft or spindle, which is something a hub does. I think you have the right idea, just the wrong nomenclature.

I just always thought rim was this,

and a wheel was this,

with everything all in one,
but now i know, and all is good
