transmission shifting problem

say i have a 94 intrepid with a particular shifting problem? when i start out in the morning and after work the car goes into drive just dandy then after i drive about 1/8th mile to the stops going home or to work the trans seems to go into neutral and after i stop completely it will go back into drive and then at the next stop about 1/16th mile future down the road either way it will do this again and then it is done and shifts just dandy once again. does anyone happen to have a possible cure for this problem? or maybe have the problem and had it checked out and told not to worry??? thanks bob.

Have you checked your tranny fluid recently? If it's low the tranny will tend to slip a little. Either that or else the tranny just simply needs to be replaced. Chrysler trannys aren't great.
