Does anyone know the location of the Back-up Light Switch?

what? i thought reverse lights go on automatically when you put a car into reverse? maybe not... have you had someone actually stand behind the car to see if they go on when you put it in reverse?

lol...I assume he means the device that activates the reverse lights...bit like the brake light swich, on the brake peddle.....I have no isea where to locate the reverse light switch though!

From what I can find its on the transmission. Can't tell you exact location though. A car manual for that year will tell you more.

look for wires coming out of the tranny, the switch is most likely in there...also its generally on top of the tranny

lol....I cant believe I posted that I had no idea where his reverse light switch....or a reverse light switch in general is located.....I guess my memory needed jogging lol
