car smells like gas

Hi, I have a 93 ols cutlass with a 3.4 that gets terrible gas mileage and when you park it in the garage it smells really gasy. The car seems to run fine though. I have replaced the oxygen sensor and put a differnt intake on, because it was plugged up. Does any one have any Ideas. Thanks Ron

How about this for a stab in the dark. Maybe you have a fuel leak. Yeah, that could be it.

Fumes don't cause increased fuel consumption. Fumes are created by leakage. It's all a pretty simple concept to get your hands around once you rhink about it.
