Question Mva

Hi...I'm new to this site and I'm searching for answers. My partner was injured as she was reaching from a sitting position in her car for something that fell on the ground. The car, 2004 Toyota Corolla, was in park, ignition on, and it started rolling. Her left foot was trapped under the front wheel, her right foot became wedge under the brake and the car rolled onto her pelvis then drug her about 15 feet. My sons lifted the front end while my daughter pulled her out. She suffered a fractured pelvis and has no mobility in her left leg due to nerve damage. It is a company car and her boss took it to the dealer who said the car was fine. Does anyone know how I can find out what causes a car to roll in park? My son turned the car off and was going to put it in park but, as I've said before, it was already in park. My daughter saw this as well. I appreciate any help you can give.
