Ultimate CD

Hey,
My friend and I have like an ongoing project we've been working on for like the past few months--we're trying to make the world's best mix CD, 20 songs. Here's what we got so far ...

Basicly Dumb--Abe Reid
In Your Honor--Foo Fighters
My Name is Jonas--Weezer
Get Over It--Ok Go
Holiday--Green Day
Gangsta's Paradise--Coolio
Lose Yourself--Eminem
Bawitdaba--Kid Rock
She Hates Me--Puddle of Mudd
What I Got--Sublime
Smells Like Teen Spirit--Nirvana
Come Together--The Beatles
Easier Than Love--Switchfoot
I So Hate Consequences--Relient K
Remedy--Seether
Tubthumping--Chumbawamba
Feel Good Inc--Gorillaz
Elevation--U2
The Sea is a Cruel Mistress--Flogging Molly

I figured you guys might have some suggestions for this ... we're looking for songs that are so good it almost makes you cry, like Get Over It and She Hates Me. Cheers!

Umm...everybody's got different tastes in music. You can only create the world's greatest mix tape in your mind. Kind of tough for me to tell you what you like. IMO a lot of those bands have way better songs, those are just the ones that are really overplayed. Example: Foo Fighters- "Hey, Johnny Park!" or Sublime's "Date Rape". Although I think it is a terrible idea to ask people what you like, kudos on the Flogging Molly. Not a very well known band.

I agree with Giant on this one, everybody has different tastes in music. I recently compiled a CD of some of my favourite music.

Bruce Springsteen - Born to run
Celine Dion - Power of love
Jim Steinman - Bad for Good
Thin Lizzy - The boys are back in town
The Proclaimers - 500 Miles
David Hasslehoff - Baywatch theme (had to....just had to lol)
Human Legue - Together in Electric dreams
John Parr - St. Elmo's Fire

If I had more time I'd probably have put a few Meat Loaf songs on it too, maybe Bat outta hell live of something!
