1988 accord lx changing feul filter

My car breaks down about every 2-3 weeks. after it sits for 30 min. it starts right up. i think that its the feul filter but i'm not sure where it is or how to change it. Yes I'm a female if your wondering. any advice would be great. thanks

Could be, but you should get it properly diagnosed to make sure nothing else is causing the problem. Is your check engine light on?
