Have you not been a member of this forum long enough to realize that that is a stupid question with a sh*tty description? Anyone that asks a question that is that ambiguous, not only doesn't "really know anything about mustangs", they don't really have a clue about cars or how they work in general.

This is a pretty bad description. Could you give us a better description of what it sounds like? Is it loud, somewhat quiet or what?

Whatever you do, DON'T OPEN YOUR HOOD. I had a buddy once, he had a Mustang too, and he heard a knocking sound from under his hood. Well the poor bastard opened it and....well we haven't heard from him since.

I probly don't have as much time to learn about all of this considering all the post and time you guys spend on here, you obviously do, but anyhow i don't know everything about cars, and never claimed that. Mellow out a little. The sound is comin from the engine, its not too loud but its not quiet. It makes it like once every second, but today it wasn't doing it. I've never heard that from any of my cars so I really don't have any idea what it would be.

alright, how about this. Does it do the knocking under heavy acceleration (going up hills and the such), does the engine get hot then the knocking start, do pieces of seared flesh fly out the back when you start the engine? These are the sorts of things that might cause a "knocking"

Searing flesh? Come on now, if you had any experience at all you'd know that would be more of a thumping sound.

sounds more like a knock lol, and it does it at all times, even when you're stopped. It seems to drive good though. Oh yeah and nothing comes out the back.
