Unhappy Have a gremlin in my flashers on my silverado half ton

This truck has been a real chase. Got it for free well freeish. anyhow The current problem is i have been having to route things away from the underdash fuse box. I think the guy that had it got it wet because the fuse box under the dash is well its mostly melted. I have most of the other electrical systems working- horn, ac system, lights, etc... My current project is to get the emergency flashers working. my blinkers work and brake lights work but when i enguage the flashers they just stay on my dash and when you do touch the brake they just hang on. I thought maybe just the fuse but i have blinkers or i could be a seperate fuse. He was nice enough to loose the pannel that has the diagram on it lol.

thanks for any help

oops sorry its a 96 chevy silverado 2wd with a factory vortec 350

Cool

I suggest picking up a Chilton or Haynes manual on your Silverado. They are reasonably cheap considering the information that you can obtain from one of these books. It should have wiring diagrams in it that you are looking for.

Gremlin

This may seem too obvious, but it sounds like a bad flasher to me.
