He only got to 80mph from what I saw...

It was pretty interesting, but pretty damn stupid too, on a public road .

That SOB accelerated FAST though lol.

I think that's a 94 to 97, I look at that instrument cluster everyday. The 98-02's had a 150 mph speedometer, I believe.

EDIT: It is a 94-97, cause the interior configuration is the same.

Even though that was a stupid thing to do, it makes me love my car more anyway.

Thats not a governer thats a fuel cut-off there is a difference and it is there for a damn good reason. One more thing that acceleration isnt that great by my watch it is more or less 7 seconds not bad but still fun when you are in the car. But 7900 rpm with a 6100 redline is just hell on the car. I need to find a way to film in my car and I will go on one speed run in my SHO and show you 140+ GPS confirmed better than a speedo at that speed mine is 5 off at 100. I dont even know how bad it would be at 140

What a nice way to kill your engine, kill a kid and possibly kill yourself.

You DO realize that we were filming at a residential area going towards the highway, hit 0-80 form the ramp there, and then started filming when we got off an exit again...thats why it gets cut off

Hey, stop being mature and thinking like an adult. That crap doesn't cut it around here.

Racing on any public road like that = stupidity.

Even better that you were in a Residential area. Tell us how long your friends engine lasts. Hondas are strong but 1800 rpm higher than redline WILL kill the car.

I have discovered a contradiction. Right before the camera switches off to a close up of the instrument cluster, the car is an automatic. I can tell because the gear indicator is shown in between the tachometer and speedometer. Then in the close up during acceleration, the indicator completely dissappeares and the car now suddenly has a manual transmission. Then in the end when your friend seems to have trouble turning the camera off, the indicator is back indicating the car has magically sprouted an automatic again. Care to explain?

My thoughts exactly.

Excellent find. I might also add that the picture of the girl magically appears and the driver stops sprouting gibberish, all at the same exact moment. I for one can't wait to hear the lies... I mean explanation.
