Lost message

Hello all,
I cant find my previous message so i guess ill have to type it out again. I'm looking for a decent car that will run all right stock but am looking to upgrade it as much as i can into a drift/race machine. Can i get suggestions as to what basic modifications i can make (ie 4 prong sparkies, pod air filter, sports exhaust and everything else i missed out) and what kinda car i can get for under $3000? keep in mind i am in Australia.... Thanks

For 3000$ I would say the best performance you can get is a Civic, or Integra... but they will be high mileage, and I don't know about their production in Australia.

I think he said he wanted it for drifting. RWD then, right?
Try an old Corolla.

As for the performance upgrades, I'm not the one to ask.
