'91 Plymouth Voyager Fuel Pump Problems

Hi,
My problem is this:
Son in law says fuel pump needs replaced, they have gotten 3 wrong fuel pumps for this model van. Is there a code word you have to use
The guy at Auto zone said it may have been a 1990 Van and registered in 2001 the title says 1991 Ply(make) VOF(model) VA (Body style). We are really unsure of what to do now. Any help to find out where to go now would be appreciated!!

Well now ya see, here's your problem. If you're purchasing a pump for a '90 model, you're getting an E7012. Unfortunately for you, your van based on the VIN, is a '91 model which requires an E7030M assuming it's two wheel drive. It's always easier for the parts guy to get you the correct part when he starts with the correct information. Of course, if he was a real parts guy, he would have already asked for the VIN and he wouldn't work at Autozone anyway.

P.S. If you go to Advance instead of AZ, you can save about $10 on the pump. And don't forget to replace the filter.
