Shawnee Car Show pics (only a few)!!!!

Seeing as how I don't have a digital camera and I couldn't borrow a friends, I had to use the limited space on my phone (damn MP3 files). Anyways, I entered my first car show yesterday at the Shawnee Community College about 80 miles south of Carbondale (I think). It was fun. There were all types of cars. Lot's of classics and muscle cars. Here's some pics some some of the one's that really caught my eye.

Classic/Hot Rod

Muscle/Pony
All original Boss 351

ASC Mclaren Mustang

Mach I

Import

IMO our club had the best imports. The JDM RHD Integra Type R was there (1st place) along with this beaut...

'98 Civic Type R imported from Japan

We also had this fully built Prelude (1st place) showcar (this was our only trailored car).

I think I'll be getting one of these when I graduate (only I want an MR not the IX)

Awesome Pictures man! I love the ASC Mclaren and the original Boss 351, they are my fav of them all. I can't say I like the Prelude very much, but it IS unique.

Thats nice, I like about everything about it except for how it sits on those wheels, it seems TOO low for my taste, and the bumper with the single exhaust. I usually see some nice looking preluds with dual exhaust on the back and the stock bumper looks good in my opinion.

The Civic's important because it's a JDM Type-R

Because it's mad tight JDM yo!!! J/k
The car is awesome. The B16B has some very nice power (10hp over my JDM B16A) and the car handles like if it was on rails. For a completly stock car, that thing can corner like nothing else I've seen. I had some trouble keeping up with him, and the only other car that could keep up with him in the corners was James' STI.

It sit's that low because it has air ride. As for the single exhaust, it's just 3 in. custom bent piping all the way. No Cat, no muffler, no BS. It sounds nasty!
