Definately wierd, definately ugly, but interesting nonetheless.

I think i read about that in time magazine or something a few months ago. It looks ugly, but that might just be because its not what we're used to. If car only had those in 50 years, no one would mind. I think its a neat idea, and it would solve the problem of punctures, but I'm sure they'd have their bad side too.

Like I wonder if the "spokes" of the tire will wear out and break? Because they seem more vulnerable in so many segments. And what if rocks and dirt get in there and get stuck? Won't they cause the wheels to be out of balance?

That is odd...pretty cool how they flex too. They'd probably be pretty loud too.

how do you figure?

anyways I think its a cool idea, the look might be a little off for most peoples taste, but I think it looks pretty neat when the car is moving and you just see suspended wheels.

I don't know why, but the thickness of the tire and the way the wheel flexes makes it look loud...But then again it says not to go too fast on them

makes sense about the flexing, but tire thickness.....I dunno. Don't think they can get as loud as the off road treads, and even if they can its not that bad and it actually sounds kind of cool.
