Angry A/C recharge

I want to recharge my 87 chevy air conditioner, but am not sure which port is the high side and which is the low side on this model Gm unit. How can I identify?

Thanks,

John

has the car been converted to r-134a or are you still using r-12?

Accumulator, is this the silver colored cylinder? It does have a port on the metal line coming from it. I know what the compressor is, and the evaporator also. This is a Celebrity, 4 cyl. 87, using R12. I've done this before, but never on a Chevy. I just want to be sure.

Again, thanks,

John

High side is discharge line to the condenser and the liquid line from the condenser to the evaporator.

You got a permit to use R12?
