Exclamation CAI vs. SRI

I have a 1997 Saturn SL1. I have a hood scoop installed on it. I also live on Vancouver Island in Canada and it rains a lot. So... what would be better? A CAI or a SRI?

I spent 20 minutes looking for SRI until it hit me, Short-Ram Intake

I'd say CAI though...

ahh i see

i remember when i didnt know what a cai was, like last month

but if the problem is the rain, as long as water doesnt make it all the way to the actual intake, you should be fine

The short ram would keep water out easier but it heats up at higher engine temperatures and might rob power, so I'd suggest a CAI with bypass valve...even though just rain probably wouldn't be a problem anyhow.
