Chevy Truck Door Latch Replacement

Hi

My name is Joe

I have a 97 Chevy full size truck

The inside door latch has broken and needs to be replaced

The outside door latch has cracked, but works, but I probably should replace that too.

Both are on the driver's side door

The inside latch looks straighjt forward, but the exterior one doesn't

Does anyone have any instruciotns taht I could follow to get these two latcheds replaced?

If you want to learn how to work on them too

You should go to the car parts store

And buy yourself one of these



Then you'll have all the information you need

To replace the inner and outer "door latches"
