RE: '91 Celica GT-S , sorry I was so vague

So , here's what I have done so far , tune up ( duh ) , changed harmonic balancer , timed the engine , and had a diagnostic run . There is a black layer of silt or whatever you wanna call it building up around the right side of where the valve cover gasket bolts to the head which leads me to believe that the valve guides are getting warped and allowing oil to burn . I have a haynes manual but since it covers a few years of Celicas all I can really do is get the bolt sequence and torque specs . I guess my question is is there a more specific place you know of to get info about this head swap and when I do take this head to the machinist what do I ask for and look out for . You didn't offend me by the way , I was pretty vague .
