96 Nissan Sentra

I have a 96 Nissan Sentra with about 262k miles on it and the other day it quit on me. Last week I did an oil change, air filter and fuel filter. My husband is stumped , the fuel pressure is a llittle high at 42 should be 36. We have spark, fuel coming in, the crank sensor is checking out fine, the fuel injectors are getting there pulse by testing with a noid light, the timing chain appears fine. We just changed the fuel regulator, but the car will crank but not fire. Any suggestions would help, I'm thinking the actual distrubitor is the promblem we are about ready to send it in somewhere to be worked on. Thank you for any help. Sandy

Maybe it is the fuel pump

Have you checked that? Check the fuse for the fuel pump as well.

If you never had that changed, i would assume that is the fuel pump.

Nice car, i had one that went 230K miles too!

Let me know too if i was correct.

It is fixed

It was the distributor that was the problem.
