I Bleed Green and White!

Yep. I bleed the green and white. I went out on Monday, looking only for a video card for my brothers computer, and ended up spending 900$ on upgrades to my computer...he got his video card too...

New Parts:
Gigabyte S2G AM2 motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
OCZ DDR2 PC2-5400 Dual Channel 1 Gig(2x512)
250GB Seagate SATA hard drive
Rider Case

Older stuff I kept...
BenQ DVD-Rom
HP dvd740 DVD-RW(it does all formats....)
40GB Western Digital IDE hard drive
60GB Samsung IDE hard drive
Voyetra Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card
Vantec Stealth 520 Watt power supply

Shit I'm about to buy:
ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon X1800XL PCI-E x16 video card
19" LCD

This ought to keep me happy for ohhh...another 6 months....

Not bad, but why the single core 3000+ AMD? I could of got a dual core for you at less (64 x2) they are really nice.

Who did the case work, it is looking pretty hot. Als good choice on the vid card. I recently made the switch to ATI and am very happy. (ATI 1600 pro 512MB DDR2)

Reason why I just have the Athlon 64 is because that's all the store had for the AM2 socket....it was the 3000 or the 2800...

The case came like that as well, the paint was done by the factory, and the decal was applied locally by another shop.

I am looking forward to the card, probably picking it up next week with all the July 1st sales, and depending on what kind of sales there is on ram, I might pick up another gig

Watch....in 6 months I'll have a new computer again...
