Beg, Engine Mods

When you are beginning to do your engine mods, what do you start to modify first. I have the 4 cyl. automatic 95 accord, and there is a 5speed manual available, is there anyway to make some major swaps to turn my auto into that 5speed automaitc, if possible what swaps need to be made.

Because i know the h22a is a good engine swap, but if i want to do engine mods i would want to get the new engine and tranny and stuff first.

I don't think it would be worth turning a 4 speed auto into a 5 speed auto...

I'm just guessing but maybe he meant Five Speed Manual (since thats what he originally said), not sure though.

Instead of putting money into your car for transmission and engine swaps, use that extra $$$ and sell your car and buy a faster car.

500-1500-2000, depends on where you get it repaired and since you live in Hawaii it may be more because of parts shipping. I know gas there right now is like 2.74 at least on the big island it is

About the head gasket, it could be done pretty cheap if you knew how to do it yourself. I dont really know whats in Hawaii, but if you like your car then i'm sure theres a few things you could do with it to make it more of what you want.
