Trust me when I tell you the Monaro pictured is very base trim. The Marylyn is just tarted up with the GTO bonnet and other HSV options.

Now for something completely different. I found out the other week that some Ford XB GTs were imported into the UK.

oh they did, a mate trashed one lol
complete write off, couldnt be repaired, he did it on the M11 (a motorway) he hit a car which cut in frony while overtaking another and hit a truck then the barrier and rolled it! it was nice, he had it in Blue

Vauxhall really.....but the Holden name sounds much nicer in my opinion

I'm confused, lol. Are you saying that you think they used to call the Vauxhall version, the GTO? they are fundametally the same car, but Vauxhall/Holden has the VXR, and Pontiac has the GTO. Actually, I think Vauxhall have stopped making the Monaro VXR now.....dont quote me though

they have stopped building the Monaro and Monaro VXR, due to people not buying enough!
i cant see why, porsche performance for 37,000 is very good!

you can find them in the autotrader for half the price
