Good weekend fun car

I have some extra cash and considering a weekend fun car...I live in AZ so it would be used for weekend trips to California and up North...I am 6;2 230 so it has to be roomy and comfortable....I considered a used Porsche but I dont think its very comfortable and the prices to fix things are a killer,,,I thought about a used 300ZX convertible or maybe something sporty from Cadillac,,any opinions would be appreciated..

Beretta GTZs are fun little 4 cyl cars (Well, the ones with the High Output Quad 4) and are damn speedy (I ran mine through a 15.4 1/4 mile stock. Shift_7000RPM owns

V6 cars......I don't know any

As for the V8s, And F-body (Camaro/Firebird) or Mustang will give you some thrills for your cash. I drove a friend's 97 Trans Am convertable a week or two ago, and they are very fun IMO.

You can actually find a C5 Vette or a 350z for under $15,000. Unless he's talking about Canadian poo bucks.

Show me! I dare you to find a C5 Vette or a 350Z anywhere in AZ that hasn't been wrecked or has a salvaged title.

I can't find you one in AZ, but I can find you some in LA. Not all salvaged titles are bad.

I don't know a lot of people that would buy a car with a salvaged title. Assuming he doesn't want to either, I'm possitive you could find an E36 M3 with a clean bill of health in AZ for around or even under $15,000. Mind you that the E36 M3 will OWN everything else (that hasn't been modified) in that price range around a track.

LS1 F-bodies, Buick Grand Nationals, and Nissan 300ZX TTs all come to mind.

Newsflash kiddies, while you're all busy swinging you're e-cocks (e-liitle weenies really), you're not helping the man. This may come as a shock to you, but not everyone want's the ultimate in performance or look-at-me styling. Some people just want a nice cruiser. Judging by the words he's used to describe his want's, my guess is he's be better served by a Jaguar XJS V12 or maybe something a little less "exotic" like a full boat Sebring convertible. The man said roomy and comfortable for taking trips.

The Buick Grand National would be great, but I heard getting parts for it if it breaks is a nightmare,,,I dont know anything about Jags...I thought about the Nissan 300 ZX early model convertible..either a convertible or a sport coupe would do...I heard some of the Sporty Caddys are pretty good....I think Jags and Porsches would be expensive to repair.
