thats very old, i much prefer the idea of foam filled run flats like they have in World Rally Cars!

Run flats suck! At least from my point of view.

They are hell to mount, a bitch to repair, and when they're on the car, noisy, loose and heavy!

Thoughs tyres are just plain ugly......surely they'd modify them first?

I'm all for standard tyres....and a full sized spare, because if like me, you have no money, when ya get a puncture you can replace the tyre in your own time. You just have to be carefull not to get another puncture in the meantime

i think they look pretty cool but im not quite sure the structural stability is quite there... but if you want them for looks then i guess they would be ok...

I could be wrong, but I think they were a prototype, I don't think they'd look like that. They'd probably resemble standard tyres, meaning those pictures are to show off the construction of them!
