Electric turbo?
Never heard of them. I've heard of electric superchargers. But there a waste of money.

the electric turbo is total trash. Infact if you want to try it out (if you don't believe us) just get a trash vacume and use that motor out of it. Does NOTHING. A turbo boosts pressure in the cylinders and if it were that easy everyone would use the electric ones.

The electric turbo is a glorified cold air intake. It will give you more power than a cold air intake but not as much as a regular turbo.

the electric blowers do have CFM, but not PSI...so a real blower can pack more air in(denser) and the electric on can't.

Theyre junk. ALOT of power is required to move the turbines fast enough to give any major benefit, which electricity from a battery just cant provide.

hmmm, there seems to be a common problem with alot of these chat forums lately. alot of people can't wait to lash at the electric turbo, and say that they just know that it won't work. but yet nobody has ever tried one. thats very odd to say the least.

WE did in my auto 120 class... we hooked up the instructors dodge neon to the dyno and it had somewhere in the neighborhood of 150hp before we hooked up the electric turbo... and after... it actually went down. about 3 hp.... you see its restricting air flow more then its helping.

The electric turbo is snake oil... and isnt worth your money.
