Your Fav. Car from Your Birhtyear...

I got the idea from another forum and thought this would be a fun/interesting game. Anyway, If you could have one car from your birthyear (had to be in production), what car would that be? For example, Smith was born in 1969, so his favorite car from that year is the '69 Ford Mustang Boss 429. Everyone follow me?

I'll start,

I was 85 so I would have non other than...
an '85 Ferrari 288 GTO

1987 Toyota Tercel Station Wagon.

With an eye popping 60 horsepower and gut-wrenching 90 ft-lbs of torque, this little kimchi burner was capable of achieving double digit speeds in the time it takes to pour a cup of coffee.

Toyota kept the ball rolling inside, filling this car to the brim with such modern conveniences as seats, a speedometer, gearshift and a steering wheel. While an accelerator pedal was not standard, most buyers opted for one.

Options for the year included:

Additional fuel tank.

And rust.

To me, nothing has ever screamed excitement quite like the name "Tercel".

I'm too lazy to look up what Ferrari/Lambo were up to in 87, but I'm a big Grand National fan, and 1987 was the year of the GNX, so yeah, the GNX.

Countach and Testarossa baby!

Testarossa is my fav Ferrari, and the Countach is 3rd favorite Lambo behind Miura(1) and the Diablo(2).

a Robin Reliant would do also

or in normal guise

powered by a water cooled 850cc with a whacking great big 40bhp and was capable of 85mph with a 0-60 time of 16.5 seconds! quicker than britains slowest accelerating car which is the Nissan Serena with a time of 21secs.
man i hated the car! i knew someone who sotted in a Ford V6, it had to have wheels on the back like dragsters to stop it from pulling a wheelie! he crashed not long after, he was so into modyfying like putting a rolls royce griffen into a jag!

Reminds me of that Mr. Bean episode where he flips a three wheeled car lol.
