Experience with Alpha Romeos?

Hey,

I am new to the site and iam doing a little bit of research before I go out there and buy a car. Since this car will be my first car - I do not want to make any common "first time mistakes".

The car is - 2001 alpha romeo monza selespeed - does anyone have any experience or any knowledge of these cars or any alpha on that matter?

Are the parts expensive - maintenance expensive?

Any thoughtful advice would much be appreciated.

cheers,

friedricey

First of all...It's ALFA, lol. Alfa's have their faults, as with most cars. Parts are Fiat parts really...so not too expensive!

Not very nice cars to drive in my opinion...I've never driven a Cloverleaf version, but if it's anything like the standard V6, it'll be far from exciting, lol
