I wonder if this chrome paint's available to buy yet. I'll agree with the people who recommended getting your windows tinted and I also suggest that you look into lip kits.

Excuse the people who mentioned wheels (the standard ones are okay anyway) and tyres that you can't afford, ice that you don't care for and turbos that you both can't afford and don't care for. Some people don't seem to be able to digest other people's questions properly.

So WHAT if he want's to put neon undercar lighting on it? No, it doens't make the car faster (as if a damn 750i NEEDS to be faster!), but it also doen't make it SLOWER or handle worse! Stickers dont' make you faster, but they don't make you slower, or handle worse, EITHER. But if you notice, he never MENTIONED stickers, so getting your panties in a wad about him putting stickers ON it is stupid!

He wanted cool mods for cheap. Since the car needs no more power (especially for a young kid), then let him do simple cosmetic mods to make it more personal to him. He never mentioned rice at all. Whether it's ugly to you or not doesn't matter any more than me telling you your girlfirend/wife is ugly.

You said:

[quote]the wheels on that last bimmer make it look kind of like a bentley...

and the rest kind of suck'n stuff.[quote]

There is no english language connection between your first statement and the second showing that you meant the "wheels sucked."

And since you said THIS time that whether they were ugly or not was irrelevant, that means that you think the AC Schnitzer and Alpina wheels "sucked" on TECHNICAL merit, which they most certainly do NOT. At least not in any way that a total moron like you can prove.

You have yet to prove ANYWHERE that you know the first thing about cars in genearl, or ANYTHING technical relating to cars. And definitely not enough to lend your "opinion" on what "sucks" any sort of knowledgeable weight whatsoever.

Freaking retard.

I thought the idea of ground lighting sounded pretty cool, what companies make good lights? Any preferances on types? Any other neat mods I can perform with limited automobile skills? What in particular would impress someone like myself? Thanks a bunch, we have about $2,000 to use but neither of us want to use all of it, so keep the prices down if possible. Thanks.

i really dont think you can put all that crap into a car and actually think you are cool driving around in it. its is not possible to do all that to a car and keeo its value. i would suggest making modifications to the engine and things that actually matter. i mean if there is a broken fender or something like that. i think "pimping a ride" is a waste of time and money. for one reason because if you have so much nice stuff on your car you have to worry about all the things that can go wrong and break.

my first sentence was directed towards the wheels, and i said nothing that would convince the reader otherwise for the 2nd sentence

lol, dude, i said who MADE them was irrelevant, not how they looked. i never even once suggested that they were crap wheels, just ugly ones. you need to go back to kindergarten and learn how to read, dude...

i said the wheels were ugly. i never once claimed to have any superior knowledge on the technical aspects of cars, and you seem to be just making this crap up as you go along.

the wheels are ugly. that's all i gotta say about 'em.

k. that definitely makes you a mature adult capable of critiquing my opinion on what wheels look good on a bimmer, regardless of the quality of said part.

The 2nd BMW and the Alpina BMW look very nice. The only ghetto BMW you'll notice is in the UK.. Anyway, stick to sublte mods, but look for a set of Alipna Wheels ( ) if you want "better" alloys..

Engines can break too you know Maybe he should just not get a car at all and then he'd have even less to worry about Are you one of these people who are happy to work 38 hours a week at the bottom of the ladder in the work place because more money just equals more tax? ARE YOU EVEN GETTING MY POINT

but have some fun at the same time.

good luck

OK, now snoope, there is no need to get angry--I mentioned the turbos when the 2k price cap slipped my mind. Sorry. And the no neon thing is an opinion (we are allowed to post those, right?) as I think it would make a gorgeous Euro performance sedan look like something out of a crappy movie. IMHO.

Now, with the 2k price cap in mind... Any decent wheels are out of the price range, although you can find some deals in mags for 18's under 2k with tires... But like snoope said, a nice lip kit or all around under body spoiler, side skirts kit would be a nice subtle touch of individuality...maybe a good set of springs to give it a little more aggressive stance...but go with the tinted windows first--a bimmer should have tinted windows...IMHO

Any pics of the car?

Newsflash folks. This entire thread and the attendant discussion is about an imaginary car for a person who isn't coming back. So the point is, why bother, tell him what he wants to hear.

Yeah Bud, neon on the 7 series would look great. Don't forget the fart cannon and the lighted washer squirters.

i'm going with Enron's first post. all a 7 needs is a lip kit. maybe. neon and rice BS just ruins the car.

He could always part-exchange to keep the costs down..
Anyway, would you surely not need all of your $2000 to insure and run this vehicle or are you lucky enough to have parents that pay for it all?

wow, ok for the 1st guy asking for cheap mods, get the basics if you want em, streetglow obviously makes some nice packages for your ride. Litewave is more popular in the uk I think. If you want the bottom glowing get a package, don't you dare buy a bunch of 10 in. lights cuz you save $20, you get all the instructions & equipment you'll need with a good package. Set yourself up with the lighted windshield squirters & some better lights for the headlights & interior (should be able to find at pep boys/autozone/oreillys or whatever basic autoshops are by you). Lip kits are a good starts also but look out for some.
Oh & the color...pure clean white.
P.S. When your ready to sell or trade-in keep your stock light & any other small gizmos & put in all back, no lost value
For the cadi, wheels, chrome, leather, woodgrain on everything interior. I'm not into it, but for that car it fits
