Updating interiors?

Alright my dad's friend owns a car dealership and they have an 88 supra that I'm semi intrested here.

http://autoworks-international.ebiza...pra/Hatchback/

Anyway its sticker is a bit under $10k but I could probaby get it for around 5 or 7. I haven't got to see it in person yet but from the pictures the interior is not in the greatest condtion. Now if I went about getting a new steering wheel and front seats, how much am I looking at spending? How extreme would it be to go as far as replacing the dashboard and gauges?

I'd give them 5 without that stupid ass spoiler. No more.

It's not even worth that much in stock form. The MOST I'd pay for a MKIII is $6K. No more.

I agree, 10k seems very high for that car!

The MKIII Supra seems to be going the same way as the Sierra, they are not really sought after in the UK as a car but their running gear makes a cheap, strong RWD donor car.

The Supra stock seemed to look mediocre at best, that bodykit actually suits the car but the Veilside style wing seems to have let it down. Also I think those wheels have to go I've seen a MKIII Supra with an LS1 engine for sale in a recent issue of a magazine I read and they are asking 7000 for it!

I would pay at most $8K for that Supra if everything works well. Apart from the wing and wheels I like that car.

Ohhh, now that makes more sense to me, lol. I thought you were well aware of what he wanted, in which case, you can see how your other post looked?

Yeah I agree with fudge, its a performance car, but the wheels say "bling", and the spoiler says "rice". $10k is pretty damn steep, so maybe half that. I don't see anything wrong with the seats, but you could always replace the steering wheel with something more "racy".

True, but dealerships being how they are, they might find some ricer to buy it.

I'm not saying there isn't a market for it, I'm just saying I'm not that market, and I don't recommend it.

Buying 'riced' up cars are quite good, you can sell all the parts you don't need for quite a bit and use the money to build it into something you want.
