No matter how much you may wish it to be so, you do not own or (probably) even like "Beemers". For the last 50 or so years, the word "Beemer" has referd to a BMW motorcycle. "BIMMER" on the other hand refers to a BMW automobile. I'm sure that at best you don't care and at worst you don't like it, but that's just the way it is. Sorry.

BTW, the only reason a man needs a BMW of any kind to impress the ladies is if he's inadequate in other areas... Like your boyfriend probably is. Sorry again.

You may go lead a cheer and work some of that excess ass off now. Carry on.

Thank you for that, and thanks for joining the "I don't eat of out of the forum ditz's hand" club, currently it seems I'm the only member. The rest of these preteens start drooling all over their keyboards whenever she posts.

NEWSFLASH TO MATHEW! I have a long history of NOT being impressed by stupid little girls on this forum. Furthermore, you have only recently become fed up with reading her blather, so it would be more appropriate for me to welcome you to the club. After all, I've been on her case since essentially day one. As you were.

Man that was a dick move who cares what she says just ignore and dont give her the time of day.

I would definetly choose a BMW M Coupe or a Porsche.
Have you looked into LS2 GTOs or Terminator Cobras.
I would stray from the s2000 as I dont find them to be very fun on the street and they really only belong on the track with their absolutelty nonexistent torque and sensitive nuetral handling. Although I have driven one modifed supercharged one that really made me fall back in love with the car. So if you plan on modifying you mayu want to look into that.

Boxster S?
911 sounds cool but I bet maintenace would be killer?
Ever thought of a e36 M3?
What about a C5 vette?
Great performance and driveability along with lower maintenance cost and fuel appetite.

That's only the older models. The new ones are 8300 redline.

REMEMBER: The s2k comes w/ a factory roll bar for tracking.

They might get annoying after a couple of weeks, but what's really annoying is the number of cars that are made with manuals today (not enough) lol.

Fortunately all BMWs are or will be, except the 7 series.

Though I've heard horrible reviews of the new M5 manual.

Its all about demand. Enough people have to want a manual for them to make it...

Yeh i read about thses. It seems BMW forced a 6 speed onto the engine that didnt fit all that well. the manual M5 is a few ticks slower at doesn,t drive near as well. BUT is is WAY more fun.

So, it's slower, doesn't work as well, and has a bad shifter, yet it's "way more fun?"

You guys need to stop driving cars and just slap a shifter and clutch pedal on your easy chair at home, that way you can get all the "fun" of driving and not have to pay for gas, insurance, or anything else.
