plus headers, offroad Y, cat back and a lid will get you to 450 rwhp or so.
Throw on a 100 shot and you are at your goal with a good ol' fashioned N/A car.
I dunno...I just think LTx's are silly.
Trust me I know all about the LSx series engines. Ive helped with the building processof two high power NA ones now.
One a 445 ci LS2 that is Daily driven and putting down 600 hp at the wheels
the other one is a 5.7 ls1 using PRC 5.3l truck heads (ala my recomendation) which flow over 300cfm and actually outperform simialarly ported 243 casting with a decent sized cam and we are looking for mid 400rwhp numbers out of it.
I grew tired of NA motors a while back, everyone I know builds them and Ive only ever built one Boosted motor and I loved it. I just want some boost and people usually dont expect to hear a supercargher whine or turbocharger whistle coming from underneath the hood of a Camaro.
I also want an lt1 becauseof the people like you who think they are shit. Right now my bolt on, geared, and slighty reduced weight camaro has taken plenty of stock ls1 buy surprised. They are so underated and it makes it all the more fun when you win in the supposedly "outdated and shitty" motor.
I also prefer the looks of the LT1 ws6 over the looks of the LS1 WS6 just personal preference.
Besides with the money I would save buying an lt1 I could easily make it beat an ls1.
Go hear www.advancedinduction.com
they will be doing my heads. 300+cfm out of a GM head that originally flow barely over 200 cfm while still maintaning a small runner is awesome.
why did you buy a E36 M3 should have bought a newer one. I now of boosted E46 M3s makin over 600rwhp. E36s are silly.
