I know the engine shouldnt be painted orange but it was pulled by the previous owner (the original owner) and repainted but I did check the engine and it is the correct engine.

Owning two Camaros would definitely suck. Why not something different...like a 97-99 Eclipse GSX. A Vette would be nice though.

You could buy a Scion TC and save up to turbo it for and additional $5,000....
Joking.

Either way you go, I have an 87' Stang in my yard that'll cross the finish line before you.

Good for you what. I dont really care.
I want a reliable full bolt on car with every little thing done to it to make it a perfect canvas for high horsepower, then Im goin put this low comp forged 383 to use by slappin a blower or turbo on it and search for some mid 500rwhp numbers and maybe around 650rwhp in kill mode.
I got some guys on ricekiller Id like to surprise.
I already got two offers from local guys, in the two days the word has been out that my car will go for sale, on for 7K and the other for 6K. haha both of those are well over market value.

Oh and Ive decided to stick with the good ole LT1 but itll be in a Trans Am (my first true love)

Come on, don't be a sissy with me. I'm just trying to get those manly musclecar competitive juices flowing.

It would be a fun race.

My uncles neighbor had one of those crazy RC cars until he smashed into my sumper swamper at Top speed and the car grenaded. I wish I had it on video it was the coolest thing ever. but yah it was pretty dam quick but I guess its not to hard to accelrate 10 pounds to 50mph.

As soon as I get some new tires for mine, we should race them.

Dude... this is easily attainable with JUST bolt-ons and a cam on an LS1. Why the obsession with the tired old LT1?

This plus headers, offroad Y, cat back and a lid will get you to 450 rwhp or so.

Throw on a 100 shot and you are at your goal with a good ol' fashioned N/A car.

I dunno...I just think LTx's are silly.

Now that I know what Enthusiasts goals are, I too agree that you should go with the LS1. It is the mod motor to have right now. There was a write-up in car-craft about how to get 500 hp without forced-induction...the LS1 motor was included in that article. Quite easy.

I dunno...I just think LTx's are silly.

Trust me I know all about the LSx series engines. Ive helped with the building processof two high power NA ones now.
One a 445 ci LS2 that is Daily driven and putting down 600 hp at the wheels
the other one is a 5.7 ls1 using PRC 5.3l truck heads (ala my recomendation) which flow over 300cfm and actually outperform simialarly ported 243 casting with a decent sized cam and we are looking for mid 400rwhp numbers out of it.

I grew tired of NA motors a while back, everyone I know builds them and Ive only ever built one Boosted motor and I loved it. I just want some boost and people usually dont expect to hear a supercargher whine or turbocharger whistle coming from underneath the hood of a Camaro.

I also want an lt1 becauseof the people like you who think they are shit. Right now my bolt on, geared, and slighty reduced weight camaro has taken plenty of stock ls1 buy surprised. They are so underated and it makes it all the more fun when you win in the supposedly "outdated and shitty" motor.

I also prefer the looks of the LT1 ws6 over the looks of the LS1 WS6 just personal preference.

Besides with the money I would save buying an lt1 I could easily make it beat an ls1.

Go hear www.advancedinduction.com they will be doing my heads. 300+cfm out of a GM head that originally flow barely over 200 cfm while still maintaning a small runner is awesome.

why did you buy a E36 M3 should have bought a newer one. I now of boosted E46 M3s makin over 600rwhp. E36s are silly.
