Things I can do to modify a '87 Cavalier

I've got a 1987 Chevrolet Cavalier 4cyl 4door and I cannot seem to find any aftermarket or any other modifications I can do to this car. I have have replacement parts but that's about it. So my question is if anybody on here happens to know any places where I might find mods for my car. The reason I wanna mod it is because it's my first my car and I want a bit more kick of it than it has currently.

P.S.: If it helps at all, the car is a 1987 Chevy Cavalier, it's a 2.0L 4cyl, 4 door, automatic transmission, front-wheel drive.

Sometimes you've got to be honest with yourself. It's an 87 Cavy. It's not made to go fast. It CAN be made to go fast, but in the long run it would be easier and cheaper to just buy something like a Mustang from the same era. You will have no problem finding parts to make that car faster, they will be cheaper too.

If you're bent on sticking with the Cavy, the only thing I could suggest would be a small shot of nitrous, which can be hooked up to any car. How well your engine would hold up against it, I don't know. Honestly, I don't recommend this route.

Well if I were to go a buy a another car, what would you recommend that's cheap and fast and easy on the wallet to insure and fuel. I was thinking of maybe a late 80s Nissan 300zx or maybe a late 80s Mazda RX-7.

Rotary is not easy to maintain, so dont get one unless you have lots of money to spend on it. Whats your limit"?

I always suggest to those looking for a speedy car that's easy on the wallet, to look at mustangs. There's a lot of them out there, so they're fairly cheap. The V6 has some spunk to it, and gets decent gas mileage.

I'm willing to bet that it gets better gas mileage than your cavalier, and the insurance is less, also.

Nitrous is not a good idea on a car that old, with as many miles I'm presuming it has.

Please elaborate on the lack of performance mods for Chevies. Also, please remove that ad from your sig. If you don't, somebody will anyways.
