1995 Altima GXE 5-speed vs. 1991 Plymouth Laser Turbo 5-speed

Me and my friend Ben (hes a cocky little SOB) have been going round 'n round about who would blow away who. I feel stupid for even asking this question, as HES the one with a 4-cylinder 4-door sedan saying he can take a turbo DSM car. I think I'd rape him. From any speed.

Whats your guys' opinion?

You'd probably win, but that's supposing that both cars run like new. The everyday wear and tear would reduce horsepower and performance (not sure how significantly).

Well having one of the cars, I woulds like to say the laser but go to the track and find out. too bad it isn't AWD like the talon and GSX versions, might launch better.

BTW your sig says a 90 laser rs turbo, but you listed 91. What year you have?

~PS anyone want to buy a restored 91 Laser RS Turbo

Yeah, read further down in the thread I made.
I was told '91 by my dad, but apparently he didn't look in the door where it says manufactured Dec. of '89.

I'd like for it to be AWD too. Those things plant like none other.

So yesterday after school me and my friend Zach took on my friend Ben's Altima with Zach's '97 Saturn SC2. We stayed with it, but when we got behind him we couldn't gain any ground and neither could he. But then again we had three people in the car including me and Zach who was driving. My friend, Joey, sat in the back and weighs 230lbs. lol So we added a good 505lbs. to that Saturn.

That Altima is a lot quicker than I estimated. It sounds good too. Hes got a straight pipe where the cat. used to be. Hes also got his own custom CAI done. Says hes putting out around 180hp.

I still think I'd womp him.

Just make sure your car is in perfect condition before racing. Done any mods on your car for better performance? My bro has a 1990 plymouth laser and added a <Link Removed>. I was impress with the power and the performance when he took it to a race.

Why were you impressed? It's a Laser with an CAI.
