Mercedes VS. American Cars

Just a thought. My Grandma was telling me how much better a Mercedes is than any American car. Correct me if I'm wrong but I always thought that European cars were a hassle. What are better qualities of owning a Mercedes rather than a luxury American car?

Why didn't you get a Mercedes?

Mercedes doesn't make a van.

I have the little 3 inch windshield wipers that wipe off the rain in a storn.

I have a place to f*ck your sister

Forgive me if I missquoted, but you get the idea.

Before I go on as to how such a generalized statement is idiotic, subjective, conditional, and gratuitous, I will just say this:

Mercedes basically is an American car company.

Oh really? I didnt know that. She was just going on about how her American cars were so horrible but once she started purchasing Mercedes it was a whole new world.

This thread really has me confused. Mercedes don't make a van? Mercedes is American? Maybe, but still deamed European in every form. Last but by no means least, Synth thinks that European cars are a hassle, yet she owns a BMW?

Mercedes not making a van was in reference to a Ron White (American comedian) joke. He was impersonating his rich inlaws who wanted him to get a Mercedes. He instead got a van with a fold out bed in the back.

The tow truck operators here always have something to say about the number of Mercs and Beemers they handle.

Yeah, I'm sure those are just the only cars they notice... If 3 out of every 10 cars you see on the road are BMWs, it's likely that 3 out of every 10 towed cars will be BMWs also. Doesn't mean there's more being towed than others cars... percentage-wise.
