Maybe ChrisV actually knows what he's talking about. I'd rather a know-it-all actually know something than a know-it-all who knows nada.

The kid ignores people who actually have experience and knowledge. Chrisv's statements were well in order.

It's funny that Hobo gets banned while people like this stay on the forum.

My IQ seriously went down five points from reading this post.

That's pretty true though...When was the last time ChrisV was wrong?

Theres a profound difference between being a know it all and actually know it all , and a know it all who knows nothing about nothing.

it's a sliding scale though.... a know-it-all (as far as I'm concerned) is either:
(a) one who professes to know more than they actually do, or
(b) one who professes to know more than others in a demeaning manner.

We'll just ban her then....

That's all I'll say here in a bid to keep at least one thread on topic.

Might as well.

1) She has taken a conversation off-topic.
2) Her comment was COMPLETELY useless.
3) She has made a negative comment towards a respected member of the car-forums.
4) Who the hell would care?

Regarding 3, I will now be sending you a private message to issue a complain for someone being provocative in a typical thread. It seems to be a major deal-breaker these days.

You are completely right. We can't enforce the rules until we've warned you guys though.

I have yet to receive a PM from you, but as and when I do, I'll treat it as I would any others.

Well, just to get the thread a little bit on topic, as someone stated before, usually there is a rev limiter installed by the manufacturer. Usually this is in the form of a map on the ECU. You can either increase the limit, or in most cases disable it completely by chipping or remapping the car. If you're looking for a company to carry out the <Link Removed> is a good bet - they have dealers all over the country.

Hope this helps,
Rufus

I don't think anybody cares too much about taking this back on-topic anymore to be honest, afterall, it hasn't been posted in sinse May last year...

By the way, Advertising is not allowed here....I'll assume you won't be back though.
