what makes a turbo spool loudly like a semi truck?

Maybe because the turbo is the same as the one in a semi, only a bit smaller. Does that help?Also the more pedal, the faster it spins. You have to understand how it works.Air/exhaust flowing over a fan/turbo creates a rotation. The more air the faster it spins. Hench the whine. More throttle more spin, less throttle less spin. if you could spin a house fan at 30-60k rpm you would probably hear the same thing. Just don`t be anywhere nearby. At least 4 blocks

So the sound is purely from the air, not the mechanics?
