Euro fords to the us

its been reported (by Autoblog) that Ford are intending to bring the Ford SMAX, Mondeo and the small Transit Connect to the U.S.
What do you think of that???

They don't look too bad, hard to say much else without specs. I'd still rather have them bring the Falcon back over here.

I was going to show that one in the thread I started about the Transit ST....Very nice lookin' van in my opinion!

I'm not sure how our Fords will sell in the US though, I mean they already have/had the Mondeo in the form of the Contour. I also think they'd be better off introducing the full sized Transit in the US rather than the Connect, as from what I've seen the guys in the US of A like their vans bigger...

the new mondeo will basically have what the old mondeo had, but with a few extra technological changes and a few more engines, like a new 2.5 litre turbocharged V6 etc etc
mondeo specs

I think I prefer the look of the current model, but I'll reserve my final judgement until the new one arrives!

have i mentioned before that in the 13 years of the mondeo's existence, its been in the UK's top 10 cars every year but never on top , i think this car will do it!

I really dont see why auto companies split their products for different places

really, does anyone have a good answer?
