And I bet our Government declares another drought soon....

Well, it's June, and we should have reasonable weather here in the UK now. Not the case unfortunatelly, as massive flash-floods and severe stoms have struck much of the UK. As far as I'm aware it's only really the North and North East of the country, but it sure is the worst I've seen it for many years. I'm lucky as I live in the South East of the country, but from what I gather some people have even died in the affected area! It's amazing that such a small country can have all this happen in sme parts, yet in other parts all is ok. We had a 5-minute long storm a few days ago, but that's as bad as it got for me. Sympathy to anybody affected by this. True_Brit, how's the weather in te West Country? The wife's off to Devon next week....By the way, as far as I'm aware, the hosepipe ban in SE England is still underway sinse last year...
