2002 focus

how to open hood , stuck. hood pops up but can't release it from underneath.
I am probanly doing something wrong. explain how to open hood correctly.

It worked as you said, had to play with it the lever was stuck thanks again.

If it was actually the pin, and you have opened the bonnet before, ignor me, lol. With the Focus you have to turn the key in the bonnet lock once either clockwise or anti-clockwise (self explanitary when you are with the car), this 'pops' the bonnet. You then have to turn the key in the opposite direction with one hand and lift the bonnet with the other (easier than it sounds, lol). What ever happened to the conventional method? lol
