What is your number 1. Fav. classic car?

Just like the title says, what is it?

Mine would be a 1979 Thunderbird Heritage... I even had one once... wish I could have a running, good condish one... what a great project that would be.

I used to have one just like that... Well, except for the fact that the glass was all knocked out, the vinyl roof was ripped off and the interior was gutted for hobby stock racing. Other than that, it was EXACTLY the same.

That poor car... the interior is part of what makes it such a great car...

What made it great for me is that it had a freshly rebuilt C6 and 400M (maybe a 351M, I forget), and the car cost me free dollars, delivered to my shop. Sold all the parts I didn't need which paid for my fuel cell, harness, seat and cage. Ran that sucker for two seasons and never did anything except replace tires and beat out the fenders. Cheap racing at it's best.

You do know that it weighs over 4000 pounds, has a ladder frame and no crumple zones to speak of. Seems to me like you're in love with a certified death machine.

Yeah, I second his vote. The 69 Boss 429 happens to be my favorite classic car also.

So hard to choose just ONE... I guess it'd either be 1969 Dodge Charger or a 1970 Pontiac Firebird
