Importing car from japan or canada

next summer i want to import a skyline. i see a lot of nice ones in canada and of course an abundance in japan. the info is really scattered on the net so i was wondering if anyne knows the requirement and costs of importing from both canada and japan into the us.

My brother imported one from Japan (actually it's his 2nd one) and didn't have any trouble with it, it's been great, he's done a few mods to it as well.

Anything you can import has to be a minimum of 15 years old, and you'd better jump on it, there's talks of raising that to 25 years. There should be some local import specialists(Depending on where you come from), that should be able to help you out. If you're really serious about doing this on your own, I would definitely recommend doing your homework, the information isn't that hard to find.
