Colin McRae. Dead?!

Just heard news that a helicopter registered to former UK world rally champion Colin McRae has crashed killing all four people on-board. It wont be known until tomorrow if Colin was piloting the aircraft, or if he was on-board at all. It does look likely according to news reports though. Lets hope for the best! And yes, I intentionally posted this here, over the Motorsport section by the way.

It's been confirmed...He's dead

As many as four people are thought to have died in the crash. Jean-Eric Freudiger, McRae's agent, confirmed McRae had been piloting the helicopter.

They haven't officially confirmed it yet though.

My thoughts go out to his family.

The Police officially confirm it this afternoon. His Five year old Son was also in the helicopter, not sure about the other two people though. Could have been his whole family

I have yet to read any further breaking news. My thoughts are with his family and friends. R.I.P.

Here's the latest from the BBC...
