Japanese most reliable?

I hear of how the japanese cars are very reliablity and can live a long time. Now assuming that the owner takes good care of their car, are the Japanese cars most last longing compared to other car companies?

Also im interested to know how many asian car companies are there. The ones i know of or at least know are asian are....

Toyota
Mitsubishi
Hounda
Houndai---did i spell that right?
I know some more but not sure if they are actaully from asia.

Does China have a car company?

if you take good care of jap cars, then they would be just like any car that someone has looked after. looked after as in showroom? looked after as in washed once a day? or mechanically looked after?
-----
Toyota
Mitsubishi
Honda
Hyundai
Nissan
suzuki
mazda
Subaru
daihatsu
isuzu
Mitsuoka

those would prolly have to be the major car producers. the thing is in asia, that all the car companys are connected somehow - half of those on the list use Bendix Brakepads, and the other half make their own brakes, but still use Bendix friction material.
i prolly havent answered your question.. meh

Yes they are very reliable...and fairly cheap to fix...I have had no trouble with my 99 Camry...

Thanks for the replies.

Anything on china having a car company? Even though i havent heard of China having a car company, i would be surprised if they havent. The nation(or at least the nations govenment) i think is very ambitious. Backing my belief on this would be their very high lvl of competition they give in the olimpics, trying to catch up in the space industry, and constantly upgrading their military.

China has its own industry of vehical, but don't have famous brand in car and the price in china in very high(consider the income). A accord will cost about $25,000. Many manufactures have the joint venture in china, like VW,BMW,Audi,toyoto,honda,ford,mazda........ It's said that benz will produce the cars in china.
Who can say something more about the giving in olimpic? It's my first time to hear about that.

japanese cars are more reliable. the thing is if that you look after any car properly it'l last longer so this is not the case. i'd still prefer a japanese car because when it comes to tuning you have a lot of options and most performance part manufactures dedicate their parts to japanese motors. i dont see nothing wrong with american cars or any other cars in this case cos end of day i'd b happy 2 drive something with alot of power no mater if its japanese, american or german!

keep dem cumin guys! this forums ace! best 1 thats why i decided to join aswel

Ford and Dodge. I only like Dodge's trucks, and their old muscle cars. That's all for them. My username may make me look like a Dodge fanatic, but it is only for my '67 Coronet. That's the story on that matter.

i also have a stigma against non-Japan cars. Growing up, Toyota was the #1 brand in my family and then Honda. ALthough I think with today's technology and competition, I think all cars are good as long as you take care of it but for me it's still going to be Japan cars, not Asian (sorry hyundai), although im not to particular about nissans anymore
