American: Chevy Corvette C6, in my opinion, so much better looking than the C5. Or Cadillac XLR, just under $75,000.

European: Not really a sports car, but the 2005 Audi A6 4.2 or Mercedes CLK500 Cabby...

Japanese: Either 350Z Touring, or 1991-1995 Toyota MR2. Those cars are so sexy...

American: I must say for American Muscle I gotta go with an old Dodge Hemi Cuda or a 60's Vette.
European: BMW M3, Audi S4, Benz CLK AMG
Japanese: Nissan Skyline R34, and of course: a Subaru WRX STi.

i love my classics and i will stick by them
btw: im only going by aussie dollars because i cant be stuffed converting money
Yank: GT350 shelby mustang (rare i know)
euro: (dont like euro's as all they are is pointless engineering, trust me i work on at least 8 euro car's a day including BMW, Mercedes, OPEL/VAUXHALL/HOLDEN, audi, and not so common but have worked on them are MG)
as ive had my say in brackets i would have to go the jaguar XJS V12 (or if you dont mind kit cars the jaguar XJ220)

Asian: not a big fan of 4-6 cyclinders i stick to my 8's so i say toyota soarer (in the usa i think its called lexus sc200 maybe )

Australia : ford cobra falcon bathurst edition (xc model) or a fake GTHO phase 3 falcon (not the real deal because they cost $150,000+ AU)

Since you live in Australia, I would go with the Falcon XR-6T and mod it.

Great idea. They are expensive to own, but Damien obviously makes bank if he can afford a 75K car.

It all depends on what you want...
If you want overall performance, I'd say BMW M5 or Subaru WRX STi.

Get a 350z or a low-mileage 300zx, and also a winter-beater since they're RWD.

A RWD car for a winter beater? I don't think so....

i would pick a Noble M12 or an BMW M5

the Noble does 0-60 in 3.5 secs, using a twin turbo ford v6
the m5 of course, has the 500 hp v10

I'd be way to tempted to buy a piece of shit beat...like a barely running 86 toyota trueno, or maybe a silvia, and do maybe a drift project...

if i had 75k, i'd definetly find a skyline, or I'd import a new(ish) rb26TT engine and cram it in a silvia or SOMETHING... I can't even begine to think what I'd really do with that much money.
*sigh*
