what is the best type of ______??
Hey everyone, just wanted to know if anyone knew whats the best brand for:
Headers?
HP Chips? (do these have any negative effects on your engine?)

I got a 4 cyclinder, pontiac if that helps.

There is no "best" really...
Headers, I would stick with namebrands like HKS, Greddy, DC, etc.
Chips...not too familiar with this, I remember that Venom had a "300" or "400" chip but I dont remember any of the results of it, plus it varies from car to car

Yea. Weapon R makes intakes and Pacesetter (known before as rustsetter) makes headers and exhausts that used to rust...uno if they use better materials now

Weapon R also makes headers. They make one of the highest quality headers for the Scion tC but its sold under the Monster Motorworks name.
Pacesetter stuff does rust but usually its cheap enough to were you could get the non coated version (which are VERY cheap) and send them off for a high quality coating like Jet Hot or another Cermic coating, and have a VERY NICE header for a repsectably price.
I love my pacesetters but I am soon to redo my entire exhaust in stainless so they must go.
