brake help

Well im in a really tough debate. My friend is giving a deal on complete brake systems and giving me a pick of one for $400. He gave me a choice of BAER brakes or brembo brakes. The Baer brakes are twin piston calipers wit slotted diskes. The brembo brakes has 6piston calipers wit crossed drilled and slotted disks. And I dont know what to get . Some of my other friends are giving bad vibes to Brembo. So I dont know if it is true about Brembo's bad rep and of other sorts. The help would be grateful

Baer or Brembo?

Although i've never had experience with either. I'd say go with Baer. A lot of my friends have baer slotted rotors on their car and have had no problems. I can't say anything about Brembo other than if you had a 2G you could slap some evo 8 brakes on your car.

Owning a DSM is like having retarded kids. You get angered and frustrated by them yet you love them to death.
