Interior remodelling?

I have a 83 Chevy Caprice and I'm trying to get the back seat out. Is anyone familiar with the procedure? please help b/c when I go at it and start tugging it doesn't seem like I'm going about it the right way. Thanks.

not familiar with your car at all. but its pretty basic, that most back seats are 2 pieces... the bottom should have just a couple bolts and slide out, the top should have a few bolts under the bottom seat, and then needs to be slid upwards and then it can come out.

I don't know this car well either, but knowing body type might help others. What have you done so far? do you have any idea how it is held in?
