EDIT: Seems normal now...

I noticed this yesterday. I posted in the 'True or False game'.....Apparently ChrisK, who posted after me, said his whole connection was slow......lol

Of course, the forum would run faster for everyone if there weren't so many signatures with animation. I wonder why that little pet peeve isn't enforced anymore? Cliffy?

They aren't that big, and when they load once, they're saved so they load quicker next time you view them...Combined, (my sig) is about as big as this picture (not dimensions, but kilobytes):

Aah, f*ck it...There's too much going on in my sig for anyone to read anyhow lol. I'll fix it.

Because every time I PM one member about it, or change said member's sig, another one does the exact same thing. It was never an issue regarding animations in their sigs, it's the size of the signature that is the annoying thing. I'll try to knuckle down on it in the future though.

A maximum sig size in pixels would fix that problem. (a few more admins to help enforce this rule wouldn't hurt)
ex.) another forum I frequent has a maximum size of 500x100 pixels. The place looks awesome with everyone's sigs the same size...

I agree, but refuse to explain why the have this ongoing problem again....
I would LOVE for CF to have a maximum sig size limit, it would be the answer to all of our prayers.....but realistically, is it going to happen?

Isn't there a way to prevent you from uploading a sig bigger then x by x pixels. Like how our avatars have a memory requirement.

Not without an admin...I agree though, if everyone had the same size sig, it would look nice.

As Chris said, that would require an Admin. By the way, while we're on the subject....Your current sig looks a little wide to me. Appologies if it isn't, it's just that the PC I'm using has a funny screen resolution. It just looks wide in comparison to everybody elses, lol

What do you mean by fade? I probably don't know the answer, but I could look around.
