Simple coil spring question.

I'm trying to install the lower control arm and coil spring on the front end of my 87 chevy 2wd. My manual says to use a compressor that works from the inside so I got one from a friend and I'm faced with a dilemna. Once the spring is installed, how do I get the compressor out? There's a hole in the bottom of the control arm, but the compressor wont fit through it. I don't want to try to install it because it just doesn't seem like it'll work.
So do I need an external compressor with long hooks to fit in between the arm and frame, or a smaller compressor to fit through the hole, or make the hole bigger in the control arm. Never done coil springs, just coil overs.
Thanks.

I know I know I'm a retard. About 30min after making this post I figured it out. Guess I should've put a little more thought into it before posting. Sorry!
