help with abs, tcs, and brake light problems please

i am driving a 95' pontiac trans am, with a 383 stroker kit. my problem is the abs inop system light is comeing on and staying on, also it causes my traction control system light to come on. anyways when i start to brake it does fine for a few seconds, then the pedal gets hard to push in, and right before the car is completly stopped the brake pedal slams to the floor causing the car to stop abruptly. if anyone has any suggestions i would greatly appreciate them.
thanks
chauncey

your car is probably improperly sensing the rotation of your wheels. Either one or more of the sensors is bad, or it is not properly communicating with the computer, or the computer is improperly processing the signal.
When you say the pedal gets hard to push, does it pulsate?

I have a similar problem with my 98 Gran Prix GTP. Hooking it to a quality ABS tester will help you isolate the problem which most likely is a wheel sensor malfunction or worst case the BCM (or which ever box runs the ABS). Before you go replaceing expesive parts insure you have good connections at all of the wheel sensors.

my brake pedal does not pulsate. it just stiffens up then releases. i have also checked my sensors, and everything seems to be in order. i guess i will have to check my modules. if anyone has any more info, i am still open for suggestions.
thanks for the help so far. chauncey.
